Job summary

DuBois Chemicals Canada is offering an 8-12 month co-op position based in our Vancouver office with some opportunity for local travel. You will be part of a technical Project Management team, supporting project coordination and hands-on testing of piping and instrumentation.

The role requires a Mechanical/Engineering background, proficiency with AutoCAD, and a hands-on mindset to help prepare BOMs, 3D models, quotations and customer service support.

Qualifications

  • Minimum two-year completion of a Mechanical, Materials, Electrical or Chemical Engineering program.
  • Laboratory experience is desirable.
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details is required.

Responsibilities

  • Component selection and sourcing
  • Preparation of quotations
  • Preparation of 3D models of piping assemblies in AutoCAD
  • Preparation of BOMs of piping assemblies
  • Project Coordination (task tracking, minute preparation, schedule updates)
  • Backup for Shipping/Receiving Equipment troubleshooting and testing
  • Participation in customer service and technical issue resolution
  • Hands on assembly and testing of piping and instrumentation

Position DuBois Chemicals Canada is offering an 8-12 month co-op position. The position will be based in our Vancouver office with some opportunity for local travel. The candidate will be part of a technical Project Management team, working alongside Project Managers, Project Coordinators, and the Manager of the Project Management Office.

Responsibilities

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay Range: $23.00 - 25.00/HR
