Position Summary




Manage the school-wide master schedule for all undergraduate courses. Evaluate course scheduling and make recommendations to senior leadership and faculty for improvements that support the College's goals. Collaborate with various NYU groups on the development and implementation of new registration processes and systems to facilitate student enrollment. Conduct data analysis and prepare reports for senior deans. Develop and supervise support staff and student workers.




Qualifications




Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree Higher education, business, or counseling.

Required Experience:
5+ years experience in academic administration, including advising and providing student services; managing academic programs and events; supervising staff (hiring, training, and performance management); and handling academic scheduling, student registration, and enrollment management.

Preferred Experience:
3+ years budget management experience, including financial forecasting and expense tracking; Complex course scheduling and optimizing student enrollment processes; Program management, including curriculum planning and assessment; Conflict resolution, particularly related to student registration and faculty coordination.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to work independently to plan, develop, and implement academic programs; Strong problem-solving skills to develop and execute strategies for resolving enrollment and scheduling challenges; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with faculty, administrators, students, and staff at all organizational levels; Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask; Proficiency in Excel, Access, and other data analysis tools for reporting and assessment; Familiarity with student information systems (SIS), PeopleSoft, and SPSS for student data analysis; Knowledge of budget preparation and financial management in an academic setting.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Expertise in data analysis and reporting to track student outcomes, retention rates, and accreditation requirements. Knowledge of accreditation standards and reporting requirements (e.g., OAPRA, AACN, CCNE). Experience ensuring data integrity, privacy, and security in compliance with university and legal regulations. Ability to interpret and communicate university policies and academic regulations effectively to faculty and students. Experience working with educational technology and student registration software to enhance administrative efficiency, specifically NYU's SIS - Albert, CourseLeaf CLSS, and UDW+ for course scheduling, enrollment management, and data analysis.





Additional Information




In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $95,000.00 to USD $115,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
