Job summary

A long-term care facility in Ontario is seeking a temporary Assistant Director of Care (ADOC) to oversee clinical programs and ensure compliance with Ministry regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to train staff. Interested applicants may apply to the Administrator.

Qualifications

  • Education and experience in setting up and running clinical programs.
  • LTC home operational experience and knowledge of policies and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Review all clinical programs.

  • Train staff to participate in clinical programs.
  • Ensure compliance with Ministry regulations.
  • Other responsibilities as directed by DOC.

Job description

Manitoulin Centennial Manor is looking for an Assistant Director of Care (ADOC), in a temporary full time capacity (6 – 9 month contract).

Candidates are invited to apply for this temporary full-time position to work at our
Manitoulin Centennial Manor, a 60-bed long-term care facility, located in Little Current, Ontario.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the ADOC will review and update all Clinical program teams.

Responsibilities:

• Review all clinical programs

• Review policies for clinical programs

• Train staff, to participate in clinical programs

• Ensure all clinical programs are in compliancewith Ministry regulations

• Other responsibilities as directed by DOC

Qualifications:

• Education and experience in setting up andrunning clinical programs.

• LTC home operational experience, and excellent knowledge of policies and procedures.

• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential.
