Harbour Hill is a growing Retirement Community serving older adults 55+
Currently we are recruiting an Assistant Director of Wellness to join our growing team.
If you are a self-motivated individual, who possesses excellent leadership and communications skills, and enjoy working with older adults, this role may be for you.
This position will primarily be Evening shifts and every other weekend. Rotating on call with the Director of Wellness weekly.
This is a salaried position based on certification and experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Rotating on Call with Director of Wellness.
- Work closely with the Director of Wellness and the Wellness team.
- Schedule and complete care plans and assessments as per RHRA guidelines.
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered by the Physicians.
- Completing required assessment and documentation as per RHA and CNO standards.
- Supervise and assist PSW's and RCA's as required. Including coaching, teaching and supporting all Wellness Staff.
- The candidate possesses a valid Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario and holds a current first aid and CPR certificate.
Or
- PSW with 3-5 years experience in a retirement setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of RHRA policies and Procedures.
- Ability to administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Supervise and assist PSW’s and RCA’s as required. Including coaching, teaching and supporting all Wellness Staff.
- Must have valid CPR.
