Camp Kandalore, a leading summer camp in Ontario, seeks an Assistant Director of Operations to oversee administration and logistics. Founded in 1947 Kandalore has long been regarded as one of the leading traditional summer camps in Canada providing the best of both canoe tripping and in-camp activities. The Camp prides itself on its warm and supportive community where children are made to feel included in the camp culture. The supportive nature of the camp allows for the campers to try new activities and develop new skills with the help of caring staff members. Kandalore operates as a summer camp in the summer months and an Outdoor Education Centre hosting school groups from September to June.

Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Operations oversees all aspects of Kandalores seasonal overnight camp administration and operations ensuring a seamless experience for campers and families. Key responsibilities include maintaining the online registration database coordinating arrival and departure logistics managing relationships with funding partners and collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate communication of camper information.
Additionally this position oversees the Tuck Shop and office supply orders supports the Health Centre by coordinating medical staff and directives and assists with hiring and onboarding summer staff including international team members. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced collaborative environment and contribute to the success of both seasonal and year-round operations.
