Job summary

IGA Alimentation A.D.R. is seeking an Assistant Department Manager for a day shift with a 40-hour workweek and competitive compensation that varies by position and location.

You should have 2 years in retail or customer service, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be eager to learn through company training courses. You will guide daily department activities, coach staff, and coordinate with production and customer service to uphold outstanding service and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day management activities within the department in collaboration with the department manager.

• Manage inventories, price lists, marketing and salary productivity according to standards to ensure business readiness.

What might a typical day look like?
As an assistant department manager, you will have to :

• perform day-to-day management activities within your department in collaboration with the department manager;
• provide team members with the feedback necessary for their professional development and the achievement of established objectives;
• collaborate with the production and customer service clerks; - Ensure the implementation of exceptional customer service
• in collaboration with the manager, ensure the management of inventories, price lists, marketing and salary productivity according to established standards in order to ensure business readiness;
