Job summary

Techo-Bloc, a growing manufacturer with plants across North America, is seeking an Assistant Controller in the Greater Montreal area. You will partner with operations to turn numbers into actionable decisions, explain margin movement, and drive improvements from the close to the forecast.

You'll own parts of the monthly close, support budgeting and forecasting, automate reports in D365, and collaborate across finance, operations, and admin to help scale the business.

Qualifications

• CPA designation and a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, including cost control, budgeting, forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP systems experience (D365 / AX / SAP).

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory, costs, margins, and variances across plants and distribution network.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and lead reconciliations.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting with department leaders.
• Enhance systems and reports; automate manual processes where possible.
