Job summary

KIK Consumer Products is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Controller to lead the Accounts Payable function, own month-end close, and strengthen internal controls. You will partner with Finance and Operations to drive financial discipline and operational excellence in a multi-site manufacturing setting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, 7+ years in manufacturing accounting, and at least 5 years leading accounting teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
7+ years of manufacturing accounting experience.
5+ years of leading accounting teams.
Experience with JD Edwards or comparable ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Own the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process and ensure all reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
Review, investigate and resolve balance sheet reconciling items with supporting documentation.
Prepare and review month-end journal entries.
Ensure integrity and accuracy of financial records in JD Edwards.
Analyze balance sheet and income statement variances and provide meaningful insights.
Support monthly, quarterly and annual close processes in accordance with GAAP.
Assist with tax reporting and statutory compliance requirements.
Support audits with schedules and explanations.
Lead, coach and develop the Accounts Payable team (3 employees).
