The opportunity
The Assistant Controller will play a critical role in supporting the Controller in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory and tax requirements, and driving improvements in financial reporting, planning, and analysis. This role aims to enhance oversight, reduce the span of control, and strengthen internal controls across EY Canada's finance function.
Your key responsibilities
Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Contribute to the development of annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor and improve internal controls and compliance with EY policies.
Act as a liaison between the Controller and various finance sub-functions.
