What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate monthly financial statements
- Manage the monthly close process, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support internal and external financial reporting and ad-hoc financial analysis
- Implement company-wide processes to enhance internal controls and optimize resource allocation
- Manage the year-end audit and maintain relationships with corporate and external stakeholders

What is Required (Qualifications):
- CPA designation preferred or actively pursuing completion
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in full-cycle accounting or a similar finance role with Canadian GAAP experience
- Proficiency with NetSuite accounting software
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and project management skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in a SAAS environment
- Track record of successful development and implementation of processes in finance/accounting within a startup or fast-growing organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating teamwork within a growing team
