Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Vancouver is seeking a Construction Coordinator for Water & Wastewater and Construction Management teams. You will oversee on-site construction, lead meetings with Contractors and Engineers, and monitor schedules and safety. Strong communication and 4–10 years of relevant experience are required.

Hybrid work is supported, with 4–5 days on-site. Valid driver’s license and reliable site presence are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Technologist diploma in Civil Engineering, Process Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience as a construction coordinator, assistant CM, or similar role (prefer Canadian or American experience).
  • Engineer, EIT, or technologist with 4-10 years of experience, with at least 1 year in construction.
  • Strong ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Able to commit to full days on-site, typically 4-5 days per week.
  • Reliable site presence and commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Provide resident construction oversight for water infrastructure projects.

  • Coordinate RFIs and Submittals.
  • Review RFI and Submittals as needed from the Owner's perspective.
  • Monitor construction costs and support progress payment evaluations.
  • Prepare monthly reports to summarize Contractor progress, performance, and costs.
  • Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.

Your Role

As part of the Water & Wastewater and Construction Management teams in our Vancouver office, you will play a key role on construction projects as we build essential infrastructure. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Provide resident construction oversight for water infrastructure projects.

About You

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $ 75 600- $108 675 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
