Assistant Construction Manager - Dubai Main Office

Parsons is looking for a talented Assistant Construction Manager to join our team! In this role, you will support the Construction Director with on-site field construction management activities associated with the completion of assigned construction packages.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Reporting directly to the PMC Construction Director.
  • Maintaining a strong client relationship as a primary contact.
  • Reporting project progress in meetings with the client.
  • Reviewing cost and risk analyses and managing extra work claims for the client.
  • Ensuring compliance with company HSEQ policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring manpower deployment schedules for each construction project.
  • Leading construction management efforts and playing a pivotal role in project delivery.
  • Assessing the overall planning of construction activities to identify critical milestones and priorities.
  • Developing and implementing efficient office and field procedures.
  • Understanding pertinent contract documents specific to the project.
  • Applying technical knowledge to support constructability analysis and review construction documents.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction and project management services.
  • Ability to manage teams effectively and communicate with clients.
  • Supervisory experience in large civil/structural and infrastructure projects (roads, highways, bridges, airports), preferably in the Middle East.
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic, both written and oral.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.
  • Familiarity with current technology and its effective utilization on projects.
