ABOUT THE ROLE
TransAlta is seeking a 1st Class Power Engineer to join our team as an Assistant Chief Engineer, based in Sarnia, Ontario. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a full-time, salaried, safety-sensitive position primarily responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the Sarnia Facility in accordance with TSSA regulations. The role involves ensuring all work complies with practices, codes, and regulations, and providing organizational leadership by developing, implementing, and managing business plans aligned with plant objectives.
