The Role: Reporting to the Cashier Department Head (DH), The Cashier Assistant Department Head provides hands-on support to the Cashier DH, coordinate and supervise the Cashier department’s daily operation and to ensure that it is functioning under good conditions.

• Completion of high school degree

• 1+ years of experience as a Cashier
• 1+ year of supervisory or managing experience

Specific Skills
• Provide hands-on support and assistance to the Cashier DH in the following aspects:
a) Manage and supervise department daily operation and staff’s working performance
b) Provide on-the-job training, shadowing, guidance and supervision to department staff
c) Achieve through teamwork the department goals set by the company

• Handle customers’ complaints, build rapport with our customers by providing good smile, eye contact and attention to them
• Assist Cashier DH to manage cash, staff uniforms and consumable items
• Coordinate in arranging all in-store promotion activities
• Lead by example by performing all hands-on duties required in the Cashier Department
• Proceed checkout service politely, accurately and efficiently
• Generate and follow up various store management reports
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior
