Job summary

Dollarama is seeking an Assistant Buyer (Planner) in Montreal to support the Buyer in managing assigned product categories and developing compelling assortments for customers across Canada. You will work with national vendors and internal teams to learn, grow, and contribute from day one.

You will analyze trends, assist with item selection, and ensure timely delivery and accurate item setup, in a fast-paced retail environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Diploma, DEC, AEC, or Bachelor's degree in Buying, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in retail is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data.
  • Interest in the retail industry and a desire to build a career in buying and merchandising.
