Job description

Are you a creative and passionate marketer? Do you want the opportunity to play a key role in building iconic brands? In this Assistant Brand Manager role, you will be responsible for helping to build our Salty Snack portfolio in Canada, aid in the development of long-term strategies, brand plans and bring the plan to life for the consumer and shopper with executional excellence.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Canada Headquarters in Mississauga.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
  • Planning and Project Management - Participate in the development of brand plans that span communication strategies and in-store programs and will have the opportunity to lead projects in these areas, ensuring effective and efficient delivery, on-time and within budget.
  • Media and Agency Relationships - Work closely with our agency partners to assist in planning and executing Canadian led integrated consumer programs across multiple media touch points including video, social, PR and sampling.
  • Innovation Management - Assist in developing sustainable brand pipeline of innovations and renovations. Lead the end-to-end commercialization of new product innovations and initiatives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration- Collaborate across many functions at Kellanova (inclusive of but not limited to Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Shopper Marketing and EComm) to identify insights and execute commercial plans for new products, that will grow your brand profitably.
  • Consumer Insights & Analytics - Leverage consumer insights and lead analysis of in-market performance to ensure our brand programs are relevant and impactful.
Your Recipe for Success
  • University undergraduate degree with a focus on business or marketing.
  • Experience in a marketing role preferred.
  • Related experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods company e.g. Sales, Category Management, Promotions, Innovation is an asset.
  • Advanced skill in MS Office Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills combined with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail.
  • Desire and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Desire for AC Nielsen experience.
