Responsibilities

The Assistant Branch Operations Manager is responsible for learning all aspects of branch operations by assisting the Branch Operations Manager and providing daily direction to team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assuming responsibility for daily branch activities in the absence of the Branch Operations Manager
  • Adhering to safety and security procedures, serving as a role model for compliance
  • Supporting team training and development for immediate application to work
  • Maintaining a customer service-oriented approach in all interactions
  • Assisting in learning all management functions, including staffing, training, performance reviews, expense management, and budgeting
  • Using a vehicle for delivering orders or returning merchandise safely and courteously
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Essential Job Skills
  • Ability to perform clerical and physical tasks
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to read, write, and understand detailed instructions and correspondence
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Proficiency in basic math
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Attention to detail and strong prioritization skills
Qualifications
  • Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in a warehouse-related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Legal eligibility to work in Canada
  • Availability to open and close the warehouse Monday through Saturday as needed

Pay Range

CAD $50,000.00 - CAD $60,000.00 per year
