Job description

Location: THE PIG - on the beach, Studland, Swanage, BH19 3AU

Salary: OTE £27,738 per annum (OTE £15.20 per hour), including tronc.

Hours: 35 hours per week (paid over time available up to 45 hours)

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Assistant Bar Manager to support our bar team.

Our bars at THE PIG are unique! We mash, muddle, blend, shake, and throw our way to creating the perfect drinks. All cocktails are inspired by our kitchen garden, which provides essential ingredients for infusions of our locally sourced spirits. Our vodkas are infused with herbs, flowers, and berries from the garden; bacon is added to bourbon, and caramel to rum. Creativity is at the heart of our bar team’s work.

As Assistant Bar Manager, you will support the effective operation of the bar areas, develop the skills of the team, and monitor their progress and creative flair both behind the bar and on the floor.

The ideal candidate must be confident and driven to deliver a quality, yet relaxed service experience.

Experience as an Assistant Bar Manager or similar role is preferred, along with knowledge of classic cocktails and skills to create modern twists!
