The Organizational Psychology (OP; https://gsapp.rutgers.edu/op) graduate program within the Department of Applied Psychology at Rutgers University, New Brunswick is seeking an outstanding candidate for a non-tenure track position to teach graduate level courses in industrial, work, organizational, and personnel (IWOP) psychology, organizational development, statistics, and research methods, and to coordinate our organizational psychology (OP) internships, starting Fall 2025. The successful candidate should have experience teaching at least 2 undergraduate or graduate courses in IWOP-related courses and mentoring university-level students, as well as professional practice experience in IWOP Psychology. Candidates must be at least ABD (with expected completion by August 2025).
The successful candidate will serve as teaching faculty and internship coordinator, providing oversight of all OP internship and practicum placements. This role includes engaging in community outreach to develop relationships and memorandums of understanding with organizations that would hire OP graduate students for internships, vetting organizations, communicating requirements with supervisors, monitoring quality, and facilitating opportunities for faculty to partner with organizations to provide students with real experiential engagements throughout their courses of study. The faculty member will also be expected to advise graduate students and chair and serve on doctoral dissertation committees.
