This includes providing management suggestions and dispatching our Acute Care Transport Service (ACTS) clinicians to retrieve these patients and transport them to SickKids. Providing an in‑hospital consultation service to assist in the care of acutely unwell children admitted to SickKids via Cardiology Consult Service. Responsibilities may also include participation in other collaborative teams within the Labatt Family Heart Centre depending on interests, experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

There is an opportunity for a medical director contingent upon demonstrated interests and qualifications.

Compensation and Application

The successful candidate will be eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto. Rank and salary ($266,000–$380,000) per annum (at time of writing); for 35 hours per week plus on call responsibilities, will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Periodic billing overage distributions may be received over and above base salary. Support for relocation expenses will be offered.
