Position Information
The Assistant 2, Safety and Conflict Resolution supports the respiratory protection program for the Safety Office and provides administrative support for the Conflict Resolution team. This includes conducting respirator fit testing, managing inboxes and general inquiries, and opening and maintaining files.
This position is temporary until approximately June 4, 2026.
What You Will Bring
- One (1) year community college in Administration, Business or related field;
- Minimum one (1) year clerical experience;
- Knowledge of hospital policies, rules and regulations;
- Experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint to maintain confidentiality at all times;
- Ability to communicate and deal congenially with people;
- Ability to organization and maintain superior document management systems;
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet changing and tight deadlines;
- Ability to pay close attention to detail when writing letters, reports and other correspondence;
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary meetings.
You will stand out with:
- Ability to communicate in both official languages (preferred but not essential);
- Occupational Health and Safety diploma or certificate;
- Experience working in an occupational safety-related position.
