Join Ontario Power Generation (OPG) as an Asset & Resource Optimization Analyst in downtown Toronto. This role involves enhancing the commercial value of OPG's fleet resources, outage optimization, fleet forecasting, and strategic analysis to support negotiations and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with stakeholders including internal teams, IESO, Hydro One, and others.
  2. Review outage programs and coordinate with Hydro One/IESO.
  3. Develop generation schedules and analyze market activities.
  4. Support strategic and operational planning.
  5. Analyze market trends and build relationships with external partners.

Qualifications:

  • 4-year degree in Engineering or MBA; 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with the Ontario energy market, outage management, transmission analysis, and financial risk management.
  • Proficiency in programming, modeling, and forecasting software.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
