Job summary

Hire Level Consulting Inc. is seeking a Capital Project & Reliability Engineer (Asset Manager) to lead maintenance strategy, capex portfolio development, and project execution across pigment-manufacturing sites.

You will oversee reliability improvements, automation programs, and cross-site standardization, while managing vendor relationships. The role requires a seasoned professional with at least 10 years in industrial project management, strong leadership, and a P.Eng in Ontario.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of industrial project management experience.
• Experience in chemical/pigment industries is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of multiple engineering fields, incl. process design, automation and control.
• Current registration with the Ontario Association of Professional Engineers (or equivalent).
• Hands-on management style with adaptable leadership.
• Proven ability to plan, organize, lead and multi-task projects.
• Proven experience in recruiting, developing and motivating personnel in plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage maintenance plans to ensure reliability and availability of process equipment and site infrastructure.
• Monitor maintenance dashboards and drive KPI improvements with maintenance teams.
• Develop site standards and harmonize practices across sites.
• Recommend robust solutions for process and system issues at sites.
• Lead 3-year capex planning aligned with strategic agenda and investment plans.
• Execute and manage strategic projects to meet efficiency, scope, budget and quality goals.
• Drive automation initiatives with site teams and manage automation agenda.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory policies and industry best practices.
• Implement standardized work processes supported by INFOR M3 and best practices in maintenance, turnarounds, projects.
• Lead and develop maintenance technicians, operators, and staff; manage site relationships.
• Collaborate with Purchasing to maintain a network of engineering partners and contractors.
• Participate in value engineering and knowledge management activities.
