POSITION SUMMARY:

In addition to the duties described in the Agent job description, Area Loss Prevention Investigators assume additional responsibilities within their assigned stores. They serve as trainers for new Agents, assist in developing existing Agents, work with the District Loss Prevention Manager to detect internal theft using various tools, and ensure adherence to Sephora Loss Prevention standards. Loss Prevention Leads may also support in hiring processes and conduct OPEX Evaluations as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist store with all Loss Prevention Programs.
  • Review exception reports and cash variances to detect internal activity.
  • Act as a witness during internal interviews where applicable.
  • Prepare weekly Market and Agent recaps for the DLPM.
  • Assist in training and developing Agents.
  • Organize and participate in quarterly shoplifting blitzes.
  • Conduct Store Tours with leadership, completing Store Tour Notes, which are discussed with leadership and emailed to SD, DLPM, DM prior to visit completion.
  • Review and approve Agents' schedules within the district.
  • Assist high-shrink stores with inventory preparation.
  • Conduct Agent onboarding.
  • Conduct OPEX evaluations where applicable.
  • Represent the DLPM in district meetings and cluster trainings in their absence.
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and some overnight travel as needed.
  • Oversee a multi-store district.
  • Reliable attendance is required.
  • Adhere to Sephora's dress code policy.
  • Model excellent client service and leadership standards.
  • Be adaptable to various learning styles among cast and Agents.
  • Maintain professional relationships with brand partners, stakeholders, cast, peers, and supervisors.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of Loss Prevention experience in retail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel within the district.
  • Ability to stand and walk on the sales floor for an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment.
  • Current licensing as required by local jurisdiction.
