Job summary

Walmart Canada in Hanover, Ontario is seeking an Asset Protection Associate to help maintain a safe, secure store environment for customers, associates, visitors, and vendors. You will apply loss prevention standards, monitor security features, and support store profitability through proactive observation and teamwork.

You’ll participate in investigations, assist with emergencies, perform external apprehensions when required, and report findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or older.
• License - Security Guard License.

Responsibilities

• Store security and loss prevention: conducts daily patrols and checks doors and security features.
• Investigations: investigates incidents of shrink and communicates findings to leadership.
• Emergency response: supports evacuation and emergency procedures; assists in store operations.
• Enforcement: carries out external apprehensions when required per policy and law.
• Communication: gathers and communicates information to leadership and stakeholders clearly.
• Additional duties: performs other tasks to support asset protection priorities.
• Flexibility: available for evenings, weekends and holidays.
