Qualifications

Job description

GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is an aerospace staffing company specializing in temporary and permanent staffing for general and technical positions in the aviation and aerospace industry.

Reporting

The Asset Manager reports directly to the Technical Director.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and financial oversight of maintenance projects at MRO facilities (internal and external).
  • Validate and approve work scopes for component overhauls or exchanges.
  • Collaborate with the records audit group to develop work scopes for return-to-service and lease delivery requirements.
  • Provide technical support for the management of leased aircraft.
  • Offer technical expertise for contractual decisions regarding lease returns, lease deliveries, aircraft repossessions, and aircraft purchases.
  • Estimate costs associated with lease return and lease delivery scopes of work.
  • Liaise with customers on technical and contractual aspects of leased aircraft.
  • Evaluate and approve maintenance reserve claims.
  • Provide advisory services on technical matters supporting aircraft leasing, purchases, and sales transactions.
  • Conduct on-site technical audits at lessee facilities.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities as required.
  • Assist marketing and operations departments during aircraft transitions.

Qualifications

  • Licensed AME M2 or AME-E, with experience on Dash 8 (all series), CRJ (all series), or 737 (Classic and NG) required.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft acquisition and import / export procedures.
  • Solid knowledge of major repairs and alterations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for aircraft records.
  • Ability to quickly understand clients' business operations and capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt to change and work under tight deadlines.
  • Resourceful, flexible, and able to handle competing priorities in an international, multicultural environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs and maintenance tracking software (e.g., CAMP, Traxxall).
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a senior or lead maintenance role.
  • Previous experience in a similar aviation maintenance management role.
