Are you an experienced Asset Management Specialist with a passion for maximizing asset performance? Gulf Operators is seeking a skilled professional to develop strategies for managing and maintaining our quarry equipment. In this role, you will continually monitor asset operations, analyze costs, and implement best practices to ensure optimal performance. This position requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to drive success.

Qualifications
  • Education – College or University Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience – Experience in an asset management or maintenance role, preferably in a construction, mining, quarry or industrial setting.
  • Skills – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on improving asset performance.
  • Technical Aptitude – Proficient in asset management software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant programs.
  • Knowledge - Substantial knowledge in production equipment (e.g. Metso, Sandvik, Terex, Norberg...).
  • Communication – Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities
  • Improve Reliability – Develop strategies to enhance the reliability and efficiency of mobile assets.
  • Failure Analysis – Conduct analysis on troublesome equipment, recommending actions to resolve issues.
  • Reporting and Analysis – Produce financial and operational reports to support and drive business decisions.
  • Lifecycle Management – Analyze equipment life cycles to determine the optimal times for purchasing, selling, or rebuilding assets.
  • Procurement Coordination – Coordinate the selling, purchasing, and disposal of equipment as required.
  • Monitor Rented Equipment – Oversee the use of rented equipment, maintaining full accountability for this task.
  • Maintain accurate records of quarry equipment (crushers, screeners, drills, conveyors...), collaborate with the Equipment OEMs.
