Job summary

TD Bank Group is offering a Business Development Intern role in Toronto for a 4-month Winter term. Reporting to the Manager – Inside Sales, you will support TD Asset Management's sales force and learn about asset management and portfolio processes.

This internship provides exposure to sales, territory management, and preparation of materials, with the chance to transition to a full-time role after graduation; compensation ranges CAD 48,000 to 68,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Finance, Accounting, or Business/Commerce with intent to return to school after the work term.
• Desire to pursue a sales role in asset management or financial services.
• Strong interest in capital markets and asset management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Extremely motivated with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales and administrative support to TDAM sales teams.
• Own and coordinate the territory calendar for meetings to maximize wholesalers’ time.
• Track activity and sales outcomes to drive results and allocate resources.
• Produce reports and update client files for the sales team.
• Assist with marketing material orders, literature, and territory communications.
