Responsibilities
- Maintain and analyze plant/asset maintenance information to develop, revise, and sustain Capital Improvement and Maintenance Programs. Provide preventative maintenance, technical guidance, and system support to Operations Managers, Field Technicians, Install Coordinators, Operations Support Representatives, and others.
- Monitor and interpret asset management program results to identify and implement improvements. Review facility history and data records for reliability analysis, recommending capital improvements or maintenance based on risk assessments; ensure master data is current. Schedule, approve, and release capital improvements, operations, and maintenance programs.
- Create and review reports and maintenance histories to evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance programs; validate risks to asset reliability, recommend improvements, and update master data as needed. Use asset history, data, and records for reliability analysis to determine and enhance the effectiveness of capital, operations, and maintenance initiatives.
- Provide technical and business guidance regarding process refinements, including repair versus replace decision models and related record-keeping requirements (SAP, AMFM, FID List). Collaborate with IT to identify system enhancements, provide user expertise, and participate in testing.
- Develop, review, and improve standards related to gas system assets. Ensure adherence to maintenance plans, procedures, and processes. Coordinate the development and maintenance of operating procedures specific to capital and maintenance activities.
- Generate and interpret performance reports to support program improvements and management decisions. Assist in developing annual and long-term capital, asset renewal, operation, and maintenance plans and budgets.
- Perform minor duties related to the above that do not impact the job's rating.
Requirements
- Diploma of Technology or equivalent in a related discipline, with eligibility for accreditation as an AscT through the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia.
- Five (5) years of recent, relevant experience.
- Knowledge of Capital Improvement, Maintenance, Construction, Customer Service, and System Operations processes and procedures.
- Understanding of risk analysis and Reliability Centered Maintenance concepts.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Initiative, organizational ability, and work prioritization skills.
- Ability to interpret data from various sources.
- Proficiency with maintenance-related software (SAP, Syclo, AM/FM, Peace, Click, FileNet, Outlook, MS Office, including MS Access and MS Excel).
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License.
