We are an industry leader that specializes in enterprise asset management and financial budgeting for municipalities.

As PSD continues to grow, we are thrilled to add another Asset Management Advisor to join our Advisory Team. This is a full-time remote-based role with the successful candidate living in Ontario.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Profound understanding of strategic asset management concepts, including long-term planning, needs assessments, and alignment with municipal goals.
  • Proficiency in technical writing to clearly communicate complex asset data and findings.
  • Integrating climate adaptation and mitigation strategies into asset management planning.
  • Draft policies that promote sustainable asset management.
  • Assess and manage risks related to asset performance and failure.
  • Proficiency in collecting, analyzing, and presenting asset data.
  • Expertise in developing financial strategies to support sustainable asset management.
  • Project planning and delivery.
  • Analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Build rapport with colleagues and clients.
  • Promote teamwork and collaboration.
  • Provide leadership and training.
  • Facilitate the smooth adoption of new asset management practices.
  • Adjust to different client needs, industries, and working environments.
  • Other duties assigned.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in municipal asset management procedures.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a similar discipline.
  • Familiarity with internationally recognized frameworks and standards.
  • P. Eng. Designation, OACETT certification, or similar would be considered an asset.
  • Supervisory experience would be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate complex asset management projects.
  • Skills in geographic information systems.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous relations and community engagement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
