Job Description

The Asset & Investment Manager will play a key role in supporting our investment strategy, driving portfolio performance, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our stabilized assets. This is a cross-functional role involving acquisitions, financing, asset management, and collaboration with internal teams and third-party partners. Your expertise in portfolio management, communication, and problem-solving will be essential in overcoming challenges and exceeding expectations. Responsibilities :

Acquisitions & Investments :

  • Strategy & Deal Sourcing : Identify, underwrite, and present multi-residential acquisition opportunities aligned with the company’s investment strategy
  • Financial Analysis & Risk Assessment : Conduct financial modeling, market research, and due diligence
  • Execution and Closing Support : Manage transaction execution including purchase agreements, closing, and transition planning
  • Financing Strategy & Structuring : Assist in structuring and securing project-level and corporate financing
  • Lender & Compliance Management : Maintain lender relationships and manage ongoing reporting and covenant compliance
  • Capital Restructuring : Support refinancing and recapitalization efforts across the portfolio

Asset Management :

  • Asset Strategy & Business Planning : Develop and implement business plans for stabilized assets, including leasing, capital expenditures, and revenue optimization
  • Financial Analysis : Monitor and analyze asset performance against budgets and pro forma targets
  • Portfolio Review & Optimization : Lead monthly and quarterly asset reviews, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Operations Oversight :

  • Property Management : Provide strategic oversight of third-party property managers, ensuring operational and financial targets are met
  • Budget & Capital Planning : Review and approve annual operating budgets, rent strategies, and capital plans
  • Tenant Experience & Portfolio Progress : Monitor tenant satisfaction and drive performance improvements across the portfolio
  • Requirements :

    5+ years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, or acquisitions, ideally in the multi-residential sector

    Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

    Experience working with property managers and lenders

    Excellent communication and organizational abilities

    Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus
