Assembly & Test Technician

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Assembly & Test Technician at a leading engineering company based in Netley, Southampton.

Introduction

The primary role of the Assembly & Test Technician will be to support the engineering team with mechanical testing, assembly, and repair/build of the company's products to high specifications.

Responsibilities:

1. Setting up, preparing, and testing mechanical assemblies.
2. Recording and processing test result data.
3. Maintaining strict company health and safety guidelines.

Ideal Experience:

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly or mechanical testing.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to read assembly/engineering drawings and work to instructions.
• Attention to detail.
• IT literacy with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Any experience with composites, hydraulics, or 3D CAD would be an advantage.

Hours:

Day shift with flexible start and finish times.

Salary:

£26,000 - £30,000
