Position Overview:

As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components according to schematics, diagrams, and work instructions. This is a hands-on role that requires precision, patience, and a strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of products and systems

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams

  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to assemble parts

  • Solder, crimp, and route wires or cables as required

  • Conduct basic testing of assembled units to ensure quality and functionality

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

  • Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures

  • Report any issues or defects to the supervisor promptly

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus

  • 1–3 years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical assembly

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams

  • Familiarity with hand tools, soldering, crimping, and assembly techniques

  • Basic understanding of electrical safety and mechanical practices

  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail

  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
