Qualifications

  • Ability to use microscopes and identify small defects.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and documentation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work independently and take initiative.

Job description

Adecco is currently hiring a Microelectronics Assembly Lab Operator/Technician for a full-time opportunity in Newmarket, ON. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals with manufacturing experience who are comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and enjoy hands-on technical work. If you are a quick learner, a strong team player, and interested in developing advanced microelectronics skills, this could be an excellent opportunity to grow within a highly specialized manufacturing setting.

In this position, you will work within a cleanroom environment supporting the assembly, inspection, testing, and repair of microelectronic products while ensuring high-quality standards and strict adherence to procedures.

  • Salary: $21/hour

  • Location: Newmarket, ON

  • Shift: Days: 6:30am - 3:00pm or Afternoons: 3:00pm – 11:30pm

  • Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract with possibility of Permanence

Qualifications

  • Experience working in cleanroom or controlled environments is an asset.

  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office proficiency.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and technical documentation.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative when required.

  • Comfortable performing repetitive and precision-based tasks.

Working Conditions
  • Cleanroom manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, chemicals, and production equipment.

  • Required to wear full cleanroom attire including mask, gloves, safety glasses, coveralls, and ESD footwear.

  • Work involves extended periods of sitting, standing, and sustained visual focus.

  • Primary morning shift with flexibility required for overtime.
