Job summary

CAE is seeking an Assembly Methods Team Leader in Montreal to guide a cross-functional team responsible for product configuration management, routings, and work instruction development. You will drive continuous improvement of assembly tools, processes, and methodologies while aligning with engineering and production goals.

You will report to the Assembly Methods Manager and coordinate priorities to support manufacturing operations and project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant management experience.
• Experience with manufacturing routings, assembly processes, and configuration management.
• Bilingual in French and English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate team activities to achieve quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of manufacturing routings, assembly documentation, and work instructions.
• Ensure effective product configuration management and support engineering change implementation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Planning teams to support operations and project execution.
• Participate in production problem-solving activities and continuous improvement of assembly processes.
• Monitor work progress, manage risks, and resolve issues that may impact project delivery and operational performance.
