ABM SENSOR TECHNOLOGY INC in Canada is seeking an experienced Electronics Assembler to join our on-site team. You will solder and assemble PCBs, inspect components, read blueprints, and support production in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires 5+ years experience, attention to detail, and strong manual dexterity. You will use calipers, micrometers, and power tools to set up equipment and perform life tests, contributing to quality control and timely shipping.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on electronics assembly experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
• On-site work with cleanroom procedures.

Responsibilities

• Solder and manually assemble electronic components on PCBs.
• Pack items for shipping and distribution.
• Install, mount, align, and adjust parts and wiring to subassemblies.
• Inspect components and assemblies against requirements.
• Collect, record and summarize inspection results.
• Check mechanical dimensions and perform go-no-go tests.
• Identify and mark acceptable vs defective assemblies.
• Conduct life tests (burn-ins) on components and assemblies.
• Read blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
• Set up process equipment and follow cleanroom procedures.

TASKS

• Solder and manually assemble various electronic components on PCB (printed circuit boards)
• Pack items for shipping and distribution
• Install, mount, fasten, align and adjust parts, components, wiring and harnesses to subassemblies and assemblies using hand and small power tools
• Inspect electronic components and assemblies to ensure adherence to specified requirements
• Collect, record and summarize inspection results
• Check mechanical dimensions and perform go-no-go electrical tests
• Identify and mark acceptable and defective assemblies
• Conduct life tests (burn-ins) on components, subassemblies and assemblies
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
• Set up process equipment and adhere to cleanroom procedures
