We are seeking talented individuals to help us build The DNA of tech. Currently, Vishay Spectrol is looking for an Assembler. The position is on-site in Ontario, California, working Monday through Thursday from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm. The assembler will be responsible for assembly work involving bench top equipment and microscope assembly processes for manufacturing potentiometers on the assigned line. Operations include micro assembly tasks, and the candidate should be able to perform multiple operations daily and test units to verify they meet specifications.

Job Location:

Ontario, California – a vibrant city just one hour from Los Angeles, known for its diverse culture, beaches, and entertainment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform assembly and testing of wirewound potentiometers according to drawings and specifications.
2. Move between processes as needed.
3. Assist the Lead with material issuance, kit breakdown, training, and other duties.
4. Support other departments or areas as required.
5. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Lead and Manager.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work under a microscope.
• Good written and communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic manufacturing processes for potentiometers and meet labor standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with inspection gauges, tools, and electronic test equipment.
• Manual dexterity and coordination.

Compensation:

$16 - $18 per hour.
