Job description

Assembler

2302 Rd 125, St. Marys, ON N4X 1C9, Canada

The Opportunity

If you’re mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools, and enjoy building equipment that’s used across Canada’s agricultural sector, this role is a solid fit. At All‑Equip/Platinum Trailers, Assemblers play a key part in bringing our trailers to life — installing components, running wiring, fitting parts, and working hands‑on with the team to complete full trailer builds. You’ll work both independently and alongside experienced fabricators, contributing directly to the quality and reliability our customers expect.

Work Arrangement

Full-Time, Fully On-site, Monday to Friday, day shift. This is hands-on production work in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.

Compensation

This is an hourly position paying $22–$30/hr depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package including Extended Health Care. We believe in paying fairly for skill, precision, and leadership on the floor.

About Us

All-Equip is a family-owned manufacturer with a genuine entrepreneurial spirit: if it moves, hauls, or solves a problem in the transportation sector, we’ll find a way to build it. Founded in 2011, we’ve grown into a recognized leader in both trailer manufacturing and heavy equipment repair and service, and it’s that repair experience that gives us a real edge. We’ve seen what fails in the field, what holds up under pressure, and what the competition consistently gets wrong. That knowledge is baked into everything we do.

The Role

As an Assembler, you’ll work hands‑on installing components, running wiring, fitting parts, and helping complete full trailer builds. You’ll follow drawings, work with hand tools, and collaborate with other team members to ensure each trailer meets our quality standards. You’ll also support general shop tasks and contribute to keeping production moving smoothly.

In a typical week, you’ll assemble parts, install components, run wiring according to drawings, work both independently and with teammates, and help build Platinum Trailers Grain trailers from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble parts and install components according to drawings and instructions.
  • Run wiring and lines following pre‑drawings and layout requirements.
  • Work both independently and as part of a team to complete trailer builds.
  • Assemble Platinum Trailers Grain trailers and support related fabrication tasks.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Follow production priorities and complete tasks on schedule.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all PPE and safety requirements.
  • Communicate clearly with leads and team members regarding job status and issues.
What We Offer
  • Year-round, full-time work, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm base schedule.
  • Extended health care coverage.
  • Bi-weekly direct deposit.
  • Overtime as the work demands: this is a busy shop and no two weeks are identical.
Career Path

Assemblers who show strong mechanical ability, reliability, and initiative can grow into roles such as Senior Assembler, Fabrication Technician, or other production positions as the company expands. We promote from within wherever possible.
