The Landing Gear Market specializes in the design, qualification, manufacture and repair and overhaul of landing gears and flight critical components to a customer base that extends from the OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to the Operators in both the commercial and military markets.

Summary of position:

In addition to performing a variety of tasks related to his main duties, the incumbent performs cleaning, assembly, testing, inspection and evaluation operations on mechanical and hydraulic components and any other parts required.

Main responsibilities:

• Clean mechanical and hydraulic parts using products as specified in submitted procedures.
• Assemble parts using hydraulic or mechanical equipment.
• Perform tests according to specified protocols.
• Read and interpret drawings, instructions, procedures or standards.
• Record required data and make necessary modifications to ensure results are achieved.
• Prepare reports as required.
• Carry out any other related tasks assigned by his immediate superior.

Qualifications:

• Aerospace structural assembly / aerospace mechanical assembly / industrial construction and maintenance mechanics / automotive mechanics / structural and architectural assembly
• Mechanical manufacturing / mechanical design / aeronautical methods officer / aircraft maintenance
• Mastery of hydraulic principles and component assembly
• Successful completion of various skills assessment tests
