Minimum Qualifications :
  • Class AZ / DZ Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to lift 50lbs

  • Experience working in a construction environment and operating equipment

Day in the Life :

Prepare to work as part of the paving crew, involved in tasks such as laying asphalt, operating skid steers and rollers, and maintaining equipment. You will be responsible for hauling materials, using power tools, and performing routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment. Attention to detail is crucial for conducting pre-operational checks and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

You may operate asphalt and heavy equipment on municipal, highway, and private contracts. When not operating, you'll ensure equipment is clean, serviced, and lubricated, with proper fluid levels maintained.
