A leading organization in education seeks ASL Interpreters to support students at universities and colleges in Oshawa. This role requires candidates to facilitate communication for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals, ensuring equitable access to education. Ideal candidates have experience in academic settings and a CASLI membership, and must commit to an academic semester. Flexible scheduling is available, along with opportunities for professional development.
We are currently looking for ASL Interpreters for a variety of academic disciplines. Candidates will be expected to attend in person classes at university/colleges in Oshawa and surrounding regions. These service providers help students overcome barriers in class to succeed!
We have a preference for candidates with an understanding of technical terminology for Computer Science and STEM classes; however, those from other educational disciplines are welcome to apply.
