You Are:

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative ASIC Digital Design Engineer to join our team in Mississauga, Canada. You are passionate about digital design and eager to work on cutting-edge technology in a collaborative environment. You have a strong background in digital logic design, simulation, and debugging using Verilog and SystemVerilog. Your excellent programming skills, particularly in C/C++, and your experience with structured firmware development, verification, and documentation processes are key to your success in this role. You thrive in a team setting, working closely with internal members and customers to tackle complex technical issues. Your organizational and communication skills are top-notch, enabling you to efficiently manage your tasks and contribute to team projects. If you have a basic understanding of SerDes standards and scripting experience in languages such as Bash, Tcl, Python, or Perl, it would be a significant asset. You hold a BSEE or MSEE with 5+ years of embedded software development experience, demonstrating your ability to execute projects from start to completion.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Developing firmware for embedded microprocessors.
  • Designing, developing, and testing C/C++ based functions and applications.
  • Interacting with team members during firmware development and debugging.
  • Collaborating with firmware and hardware teams from other sites.
  • Participating in firmware integration, debugging, and silicon hardware bring-up.
  • Contributing to the development of high-end mixed-signal designs from specification development to prototype test-chips and state-of-the-art IP products.

  • Experience working with internal team members and customers on complex technical issues.
