Qualifications

What You Will Do

1. Provide up to date communication and photos to Project Manager and Production Scheduler regarding the status of work
2. Manage on site emergency response under asbestos abatement protocols
3. Build effective containment chambers and negative air flow
4. Work collaboratively with the Hazmat crews
5. Set up necessary drying equipment as per industry protocols
6. Monitor drying process and adjust/remove equipment as required
7. Refer any questions from property owners or adjusters to the Project Manager
8. Fill out and submit all necessary paperwork related to each job in a timely manner
9. Ensure work sites are kept safe and clean of debris upon completion of job
10. Familiar with WorkSafeBC's asbestos regulations

What You Have

1. Asbestos Abatement Certification (Level 1, 2, 3, S)
2. Moderate Risk Certification
3. 3+ years of experience in restoration/abatement
4. High school diploma or equivalent
5. Clean Criminal Record Check
6. Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract
7. Superior customer service skills and utmost professionalism with clients
8. Knowledge of construction related hand tools and power tools
9. Knowledge of building materials and basic construction fundamentals
10. Experience driving and parking a cube truck or full sized van (considered an asset)
11. Able to work on call shifts on rotation basis
