Basic Function: Under the direction of the Director of Operations and other Company management, coordinate and supervise all activities related to asbestos abatement projects.

Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Drivers License
- Current Michigan Lead/Cadmium Awareness Training Certification
- Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Test, Background Check and Physical

- Ability to Work at locations throughout Michigan and the northern portions of Indiana and Ohio

Detailed Descriptions of Essential Duties:
- Project Planning: Review of awarded abatement projects and schedule requirements. Assist Project Coordinator with development of project plans and schedules. Identify necessary manpower, equipment and tools necessary to meet project objectives and schedules.
- Project Execution: Direct all on-site activities performed by company employees in an effort to meet project objectives within the required schedule and budget. Responsible for ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications. Responsible for identifying any changes from contracted duties required to complete project. Responsible for coordination with owner, general contractor and other trades. Responsible for the quality and accuracy of finished work.
- Management of Asbestos Abatement Personnel: Assist Project Coordinator and Director of Operations in planning and communicate daily work assignments for each employee or crew of employees. Train employees to complete assigned tasks efficiently, safely and in a high-quality manner. Train employees in use of required tools and equipment as needed. Assign start, stop, lunch and break times. Responsible for identification of performance and production issues and corrective actions.
- Safety: Responsible for overall safety of all employees on jobsite. Enforce company safety plan and ensure compliance with all site rules and regulations including but not limited to personal protective equipment, fall protection, etc. Responsible for addressing any safety issues identified by client, general contractor, etc.
- Compliance: Responsible for ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations related to the company’s work on the jobsite. Ensure proper job site set up – decon, enclosures, etc. Ensure proper documentation of all work – daily work logs and safety forms, disposal records, pre- and post-abatement photographs. Coordinate pre-abatement conferences and post-abatement verifications with survey company. Inspect all completed jobs prior for compliance with contract specifications and law prior to crews leaving jobsite.
