We are hoping to have the incoming Artistic Director work alongside the current AD for the 2026/27 Season and be part of the Season’s 2027 Awaken Festival and Indigenous Summer Play Readings.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Artistic Director is responsible for all artistic matters of Gwaandak Theatre Society, supervision of staff, and development of funds for operations and programming. The AD is additionally responsible for the planning and implementing of the mission, mandate, and vision of the Society as approved by the board. The AD is the head and driving force of Gwaandak Theatre Society as well as the face of the theatre to the community and stakeholders.
