Job summary

TekStaff IT Solutions seeks a Senior AI Engineer for a 6-month contract in the Greater Toronto Area. You will design and develop LLM-powered applications in Python, build AI agents with LangGraph, and implement RAG solutions using embeddings and vector search.

Responsibilities include MCP server integration, Langfuse observability, and deploying AI services on Google Cloud (Vertex AI, BigQuery). Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable AI solutions is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing AI/LLM-powered applications.
• Strong Python, LangGraph/LangChain, RAG, and prompt engineering skills.
• Experience with Langfuse or similar LLM observability tools.
• Understanding of MCP, REST APIs, vector databases, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and responsible AI practices.
