Role Responsibilities

AI-Powered Development: Use Cursor, Claude Code, and similar tools to rapidly build features across the stack

Rapid Prototyping: Leverage AI to create POCs and MVPs in hours/days instead of weeks

MCP Server Development: Build and maintain MCP servers for enhanced AI tool integration

Full Stack Implementation: Jump between React frontends, .NET APIs, Python scripts, and infrastructure as needed

What You'll Build

• Frontend features using React
• Backend APIs in .NET
• Python automation scripts for data processing and integrations
• MCP servers that give AI tools access to our domain-specific knowledge
• Infrastructure-as-code
• Rapid prototypes for new features, leveraging AI to go from idea to demo in hours
• Internal tools and utilities that boost team productivity

Required Experience

Generalist Background: 4+ years as a full-stack developer, comfortable with frontend, backend, and some DevOps (.NET or Node JS, RESTful API's, React, Typescript, Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, SQL, Git)

Startup Experience: Proven track record in fast-paced environments where you owned projects end-to-end

AI Tool Mastery:

• Daily hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, or similar)
• Demonstrated ability to use AI for rapid prototyping and development acceleration
• Examples of projects where AI tools provided significant productivity gains

MCP Server Expertise:

• Built and deployed MCP servers
• Integrated MCP servers with development workflows
• Understanding of how to expose domain knowledge to AI assistants

AI Integration Experience:

• Integrated LLMs into applications (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Built AI-powered features or automations
• Experience with prompt engineering and AI workflow optimisation

Preferred Experience

Fashion/E-commerce: Understanding of PLM or retail tech

Open Source: Contributions to AI tooling or MCP server ecosystem

Automation: Built tools that automate repetitive development tasks
