Artificial Insemination Technician
Central Ontario – Inclusive of the regions between Peterborough, City of Kawartha Lakes, and Northumberland counties

We are currently looking for a part-time Artificial Insemination (AI) Technician to provide AI services in Central Ontario.

In this role, you will:

• Provide artificial insemination service (A.I.) and sell farm and agri-products
• Promote current/new products and services to established and potential clients
• Offer consulting service to breeders answering questions related to reproduction, and,
• Participate in staff development opportunities, and staff/client meetings.

To be successful you will need:

• A keen interest in dairy and beef industry
• Knowledge and experience in the agriculture industry is strongly preferred
• Breeding experience is an asset, but training will be provided
• Physical fitness with acute manual dexterity
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• A valid ‘G’ Ontario driver’s license and clean driving record
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including weekends and holidays

• Compensation: Paid on daily rate of $200 per day. Estimated working days per year = 120.
