A national litigation firm is seeking Articling Students for the 2026-2027 term in Toronto. The role involves legal document production, research, and shadowing lawyers in court. Samfiru Tumarkin LLP is a busy national litigation firm with offices in Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, and Vancouver — specializing in employment law, as well as personal injury and insurance litigation.
We’re currently accepting applications for Articling Students for the 2026-2027 term at our Toronto office.
At Samfiru Tumarkin LLP, Articling Student responsibilities include legal document production (including demand letters, claims, etc.), research, handling the day-to-day carriage of Small Claims Court files under the supervision of a lawyer or paralegal, shadowing legal representatives at various appearances including mediations, motions, and trials, and completing various administrative duties as needed.
This position is hybrid, with the option to work remotely or from our office. A reliable home internet connection is required for remote working.
We’re looking for someone responsive, eager to learn, adaptable, and who enjoys a fun, fast-paced environment. The right candidate will be someone who can see themselves practicing employment law and who has the right personality for a demanding litigation practice.
