Infrastructure Ontario is seeking an Articling Student for the 2026-27 term. In this role, you will gain diverse legal experience, working closely with experienced lawyers on infrastructure and commercial projects. Successful candidates will have a strong foundation in law, and the opportunity to contribute to vital public asset management while honing their legal skills in a supportive environment.
The Legal Services Department plays a critical role in our organization by providing comprehensive legal support across various domains. Comprising Corporate Legal, Transaction Legal, and Real Estate Legal divisions, this department ensures legal compliance, safeguards the organization's interests, and facilitates smooth project delivery.
Articling Student (2026-27)
At Infrastructure Ontario (IO), a Crown agency of the Province of Ontario, we work to build, finance, and enhance the value of Ontario’s vital public assets. The Position
As an Articling Student (2026-27) with IO’s Transaction Services and Corporate Legal Enterprise Team, you will work with lawyers and other legal professionals in providing support to all of IO’s business lines. Lawyers within the team specialize in services that support infrastructure and commercial projects, construction, real estate and leasing, lending, technology, privacy protection, government affairs, litigation, and contract management.
IO’s goal is to ensure Articling Students receive well-rounded articles, gaining experience in different areas of law. Through IO’s rotation system, students will have the opportunity to rotate through two of the three primary legal groups at IO:

The 2025 hiring range for this position is $61,489 - $92,233 with a corresponding job level of LST.
Subject to change, and in accordance with the Ontario Law Society, the 2026/2027 hiring range for this position is $67,133 - $100,699.
